The 1st Grade Veterans Day Assembly at Scott Elementary is always a highlight of the year! This year, it was made even better by having a special guest join us. Senior Master Sergeant Ken Mueller, Vietnam War veteran, Mascoutah High School graduate, and father of Kindergarten teacher Robyn Guempel, joined us for the assembly today and received a warm recognition from our student body. Each October, the Illinois State Board of Education releases the "Illinois School Report Card" to provide official information about all public schools in the state of Illinois. Scott Elementary School will receive a designation of EXEMPLARY SCHOOL (the top possible rating) on the Illinois State Report Card, meaning our school has performed in the top 10% of schools statewide during the 2023-24 school year.
