Notice of Preliminary Budget Access
At its Tuesday, July 20 meeting, the Mascoutah Community Unit School District Board of Education approved the Preliminary Fiscal Year 2022 (FY22) Budget. The preliminary budget is available for review Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm at the Administrative Support Center (421 Harnett Street, Mascoutah). The hearing for the final FY22 Budget will be Tuesday, September 15.

Scott Elementary wishes to give a shout out to MR. SCOTT SIMON! Mr. Simon is in his final days of teaching at SES and we are very proud to have worked alongside him as he approaches retirement. He is finishing his 28th year in Mascoutah School District, serving as an Early Childhood Education Teacher. Scott's character is unmatched as he leads with a positive attitude and a willingness to help others every day. His love for his students is deep and he will be missed at SES! The USDA Summer Food Program is open to students this summer. Eligible low-income children will receive ~$375. Log in to Qmlativ, click on Food Service Applications, click the green plus, and complete. If your family is approved, you will receive state-provided prepaid cards.

SES 4th graders have been very busy! Students collected cereal boxes for our local food pantry, and created a domino dropping train down the hallways of SES. Weight, size and box placement were all important in this project! #19EveryStudent

Mrs. Guempel's kinders took advantage of the beautiful weather to explore the concept of measurement in our school garden. #EveryStudent


Kindergarten celebrated spring with the releasing of their very own butterflies. They learned about their world, and one of the beautiful creatures that inhabit it. Ms. LaGrow's students even celebrated with butterfly hats. #EveryStudent
