Yesterday, the 7th grade baseball team fell but our 8th grade team won to tough Triad Teams. 7th grade
softball team fell but our 8th grade team won vs. Triad.
Congrats to the girl cross country team whose varsity team won and the boys cross country team for their team 3rd place at the ICS Invitational on Tuesday. Girls varsity medalist were Maya Soltys (6th), Lyla Marbaker (7th), Arya Sutherland (8th), Harper Harris (9th), and Kaelyn Kinzel (15th)

Environmental Club: sign up sheets are on the table outside Mr. Hilpert's Room 404 and will be needed to attend meetings that will be starting September 1st (after school until 3:30 in Room 404). Meetings are the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays after school. We will be working on gardening, indoor growing projects as well as managing all of the MMS recycling.
First Priority Club Announcement:First Priority is a Christian-based club that meets every Thursday after school in Room 307 until 3:25 PM. This is a great opportunity to meet new friends, have meaningful conversations, and spend time together in a welcoming environment.Our first meeting is Thursday, September 3! Attention, students!This year’s fall play, Bringing Down The House, is a comedy about three aspiring musical creators racing against the clock to put on their show. When unexpected interruptions and plenty of chaos get in the way, they’ll have to figure out how to keep the show going!Auditions will be Tuesday, September 8th and Thursday, September 10th. You only need to attend one audition date. Auditions will take place immediately after school in Mrs. Cummins' Room: Room 705 and will end promptly at 4:00 PM. Please make sure you have a ride available to pick you up at 4:00.Returning crew members should see or email Mrs. Cummins or Mrs. DeBusk if they plan to return.We hope to see you at auditions!
