The MMS February Teacher of the Month is Exploratory teacher, Mrs. Levrault!. Students report that Mrs. Levrault is a great teacher who is kind, patient, understanding and helpful. She makes class fun with her beginning of class questions, in-class discussions and hands-on activities. Congratulations Mrs. Levrault!

March is Empathy, "Walk A Mile In Someone Else's Shoes", month. Empathy means the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. Student Services is hosting a Giving Balloon Drive to stock our Care Closet. Starting next week and through the month of March students and staff can take a balloon or multiple balloons from the "yellow brick road" and return the balloon with the care items they purchased to Student Services.

The 3rd Quarter Reward Party will take place on Friday, March 13th and includes 6th, 7th and 8th grades in a variety of fun activities including BINGO and a School Dance during the school day. In order to qualify for the party, students must meet the following criteria during 3rd quarter: 3 or fewer total discipline incidents, no hallway incidents, and no ISS or OSS.

Three students will be randomly selected each week for a prize if they’ve completed their agendas all week. Students will be called to the office over the intercom at random times throughout the week. If your name is called, come to the office with your agenda. If your agenda has been completed all week, including with a goal written at the beginning of the week, you will receive a swag bag full of great prizes. Good luck!
